Join us for a relaxing sail along the Derwent River aboard Tasmania's largest tall ship. There is no better way to experience the charming beauty of Hobart than from the water. Enjoy the sound of the waves lapping at the hull, feast on our prized local cheeses, have a siesta in the sun or shade, take photos of the local wildlife - if you're lucky, you'll see a dolphin or whale!

During our family holiday in Hobart, my husband decided to spontaneously book the Windward Bound Ship Cruise, and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip! The crew was absolutely lovely and incredibly accommodating, clearly enjoying every moment of what they do.

I can’t express how fantastic the first mate was (I’m pretty sure her name was Susie). She was amazing with our six-year-old son, letting him steer the ship, call out instructions, and patiently answering his endless questions. It was heart warming to see how much effort is put into training the young crew members, ensuring they are skilled and passionate about their roles.

The cheeses and small fruit platter that were served were delightful and perfectly complemented the beautiful voyage. We had an unforgettable experience and can’t recommend the Windward Bound Ship Cruise enough. This adventure is a must for anyone visiting Hobart!
